New record of the Mourning Warbler (Geothlypis philadelphia) (Passeriformes: Parulidae) from Cuba

Abstract
Mourning Warbler (Geothlypis philadelphia) breeds in eastern and central North America, as well as some Central American countries and migrates through Central America. It winters in southern Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador and Venezuela. In Cuba it is considered very rare with only fourth reports. The last one and first documented with photos corresponds to September 9, 2018 in Guanahacabibes, Pinar del Río. Exactly 5 years later, on September 9, 2023 at Cabo de San Antonio, Guanahacabibes, an immature specimen of the Mourning Warbler is documented with images. This report is the fourth and second documented record of the species for Cuba.
