POEYANA is a broad-spectrum, open-access scientific journal dedicated to the field of Zoology, funded by the Institute of Ecology and Systematics. Its mission is to promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge on animal diversity, biology, ecology, and conservation, contributing to the advancement of biological sciences and sustainable development through the communication of high-quality research results. The scope of the journal includes both theoretical and applied studies in areas such as Taxonomy, Systematics, Animal Behavior, Plant-Animal Interactions, Biological Conservation, Ecology, and Evolution, as well as exceptional contributions in related subjects that expand the understanding of zoological biodiversity.
