Abstract

The natural conditions where the apiaries are established influence the results of beekeeping through their impact on the honey flora in terms of the secretion of nectar per flower, the number of flowers per plant, the opening and closing time of the flowers where the bee works, as well as the concentration of the nectar and the life cycle of the bees that are essential for the determination of beekeeping potentialities. This article will show the relationship and benefits of coexistence between the flora, bees and man that inhabit the municipality of Cumanayagua, in the Guamuhaya mountain massif.
