POEYANA is a broad-spectrum journal focused on the field of Zoology. It is aimed at experts – researchers, teachers and students related to biological and related sciences. Its objective is to publish original and unpublished articles of high scientific quality that have not been subjected to simultaneous evaluation processes by other journals, in the research fields related to this discipline, such as: Taxonomy, Systematics, Animal Behavior, Plant-Animal Interaction , Biological Conservation, Ecology and Evolution. Exceptionally, other works that do not coincide with these themes may be considered. Publish articles, short communications and, eventually, review articles that represent an important contribution to the field of zoology. The main language is Spanish, but articles in English are also accepted. The manuscripts submitted must provide original results, obtained and interpreted rigorously, and reach well-supported conclusions.
